Even though IntelliJ IDEA doesn't support Swift, I installed the Noctule plugin and have been using it to view my iOS project because it's git functionality (especially diff) is SO MUCH better than Xcode’s.

Somehow I failed to commit a change to a file. Xcode's file history doesn't show it, only git commits. Can't find anything in git anywhere, even in IDEA. Then it occurs to me to check IDEA's local file history.
THANK GOD FOR IDEA’S LOCAL HISTORY. All I need to do is click a few » icons and I've got the accidentally stomped code back.
IntelliJ IDEA is great. Xcode sucks balls. That is all.
