How can someone message another person in Signal if your number is secret, they are not on your contact list, and you have virtually no contacts?
Someone I know just got a random "hello" in Signal from a stranger without zero prior contact.

maybe they joined a group chat you were in?did you also set "who can find me by phone number" to "nobody"?
otherwise, maybe they could just have some list of numbers they're spamming.
