Holy crap it works! Thanks so much @bitsacb Do you use Apple Mail on your Mac and sort messages by thread? Open a collapsed thread with the Return key, then use Option+Up Arrow or Option+Down Arrow to move between messages without closing the window. Quick way to work through a thread.
