Now I have all the way until spring to worry about how much it’s going to cost to fix whatever is wrong with our roof. It will be then before it’s safe for someone to climb up there. I hesitate to use the company who installed our roof, because they already had to come back and fix something else their original crew screwed up, but ultimately I think we will because if it’s an additional problem caused by their negligence, we will not have to pay for it. I have a bad feeling it’s something whether related though and we will be stuck with the bill. Ah the joys of homeownership.

@robini71 @technocounselor We've got something similar though different. it's not our roof, but our kitchen floor. they may have to do foundation work which means we'll have to leave temporarily. As I get older I have a harder time keeping my anxiety in check when it comes to stuff like this.

@lerven @technocounselor And that I also understand I truly do. Prayers sent up for both of you. Whether one has to stay or go during such repairs anxiety can be produced. I understand I truly do.
