    I bumped against my iMac while it was booting Linux Mint. And suddenly it got stuck with a blinking world icon. Anyone got an idea what that’s about? Power cycling fixed it…

          @root42 I think that’s “Internet Recovery”, so I guess it couldn’t boot normally for some reason?

              @Yoss1960 Yup, seems the external SSD disconnected when I bumped the machine. Reboot fixed it.

                @root42 Maybe it’s like a pinball machine and it has some kind of sensor to detect when it’s being tilted, to keep you from cheating.
