    @cryptgoat Motorola's made a lot of really solid devices in the $200 to $300 range. I really no longer want to be giving my money to Google or using any of their services at all. So this is a very welcome move from Motorola and I hope it's a very active partnership so that Motorola actually becomes the best platform for Grapheneos and not simply a supported platform.

        @cryptgoat This is relatively big.

        The moat is not the hardware, the moat is the OS.

        I am moving away, using GrapheneOS.

        I invested in #Proton, which is making the move harder. Perhaps I move away from Proton, because that is a blocker.

        Banking apps too, and I think I can manage that one.

              @cryptgoat aber bitte mit sauber abgestimmter Hardware. Das ist Motorola nicht immer gelungen.

              Wünschenswert wäre: Sim Slot, MicroSD Slot, Klinkenbuchse, >8GB RAM, >256GB Speicher, Leica Kamera (mit physischer Status LED), NFC, alle SAT Positionierungssysteme, 868MHz Lora (Meshcore, Meshtastic), gute LED (Taschenlampe), E-Ink am oberen Bildschirmrand oder Rückseite. Das Ganze dann bitte um 800-1000€ max. Wäre sofort dabei. #träum

                @Infoseepage Yeah, I hope their devices are up to common standards when they release it.

                Last #Motorola phone I personally owned and used was a #MotoG4 and it was by far the worst Android device I have ever used. Unstable as fuck and absolutely terrible build quality. A mate had the same problems.

                But well, that has been quite a while ago.

                      Didn't Google buy Motorola anyway a few years back?
