We made it through, and back again after breakfast, although the return trip was a bit more nervewracking because more water had run off the fields. We were lucky, I think half an hour later it would have been too deep to attempt and we'd have had to make a diversion.

@lexicaleigh We did, thank you, although by the return trip it had got deeper due to water running off the fields. It was getting close to impassable, and it was down to Alfred's driving skill.

@suearcher Eeek! We used to drive a Daihatsu 4x4 which would have been ok with that flood. Not something you want to see on the road though.
