The physical part is awake and operating on auto pilot, making tea, switching on computer etc. The cognitive part is objecting strongly and keeps drifting off to try and remember where I put down a thingy while dreaming, in spite of not being able to remember quite what it was or why I need it.

@DoubleTreble Good morning DT and Funky Pigeon. Enjoy your pub lunch later. Rheumatologist phoned me and is sending me for an MRI for my wonky knee, and adding me to the surgical list. She said it could take years. We have a tea & bun voucher to use this afternoon too, so a short trip out later.
