@revk @tindie maybe they've just geoblocked the UK for OSA purposes!

(I'd like to say I'm joking, but...)

@revk @tindie I did double-check via Tor (because I seem to have allowed my mulvad credits to expire...)

@revk @tindie most definitely; there's a thread on their Reddit saying the same - but I can't see any update actually from them.

I guess they're just sat trying to work out *what* they broke so badly...!

@ahnlak @tindie To be clear, we all know shit happens.

I am sure many of us have "been there, and done that" and that can mean sat on the cold floor of a data centre with a laptop, panicking. I definitely have. It is a scary time.

But what customers, and users, need is some sense of "WTF is happening" and some sense of "We are working on it" and even a vague "when you expect it will be back". The latter being the hardest, I know.

Tindie saying fuck all is bad. Very bad.

@ahnlak @revk @tindie Have Hackaday actually put much into it after they took it over?

Wondering if it's a case of they didn't really re-invest into it much and it's gotten into one of those old software nightmares.

@revk @ahnlak @tindie It was originally built by small team, then got bought out around 10 years ago by Hackaday / SupplyFrame.

@revk @tindie it's not helped by the fact that all their blog and community spaces are in the same state (I'm assuming on the same backend)

As you say, stuff breaks all the time, but given they *have* non-website channels (here, instagram, bsky, farcebook even) it's a shame they can't manage to put out *anything* on *any* of them.

Then again, I've no idea - maybe it's a one-man band and he's in bed with a cold.

@Ryanteck @ahnlak @tindie Interesting, so they are hopefully fixing this.

BUT SOME STATUS OF THE FUCKING ISSUE WOULD REALLY BE APPRECIATED...

                      Sorry.
