Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naser_Makarem_Shirazi) issued a fatwa declaring "jihad" against USA and Israel over the killing of dictator Khamenei, declaring Trump and Netanyahu to be "Enemies of God".

    That changes everything!
    Oh. No, I meant "nothing".
    That changes nothing.

Narmak, eastern Tehran, as Trump/Netanyahu continue their bombing of immense magnitudes in densely populated areas, which therefore is by its nature indiscriminate and thus an actual war crime.

"Analysis: 'Trump’s unprovoked attack on Iran has no mandate – or legal basis'"
        https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/live/2026/mar/01/us-israel-war-on-iran-ayatollah-ali-khamenei-i-dead-latest-reports?CMP=share_btn_url&page=with%3Ablock-69a42ff18f08e575db5bdc49#block-69a42ff18f08e575db5bdc49
        As I said.
It's not about whether one likes or dislikes any particular regime anywhere, it's about preserving the protection against States, especially under authoritarian rulers, just invading others' homes whenever they feel like, resulting in usually at least many thousands up to millions of devastated lives just for some ruling elite's lust for power.

The politicians in EU and Canada will certainly change their minds when USA now invading in Iran on Trump's whim keeps pushing and maybe actually does invade EU and/or Canada as has been explicitly mentioned by Trump as a possibility, based on their praise of this war of aggression invasion now.
The UN Charter protection against States invading, or actually even threatening to, must be maintained as an equally absolute rule for ALL States, not just arbitrarily applied when one feels like it, because then it doesn't work.
Then the Trumps, Putins, Erdoğans, Netanyahus, etc of the world will just point at the other rulers' past declarations of support for war of aggression to claim they can do it to anyone anywhere.

'University students in Iran form alliance: Let us raise our voices for a democratic future

[...] outlined the fundamental principles of their alliance as follows:

A clear stance against reactionism and inherited tyranny: We will not bow to sheikhs or religious leaders. The revolution of the Iranian people is a journey toward freedom, equality, secularism, and democracy. Attempts to restore the past and reestablish the monarchy are a betrayal of the principle of freedom. We will not choose between “bad and worse”; our preference is a rule by the people.

Drawing a line against fascism and totalitarianism: The slogan “One state, one flag, one leader” [wannabe-Shah's slogan] recalls the dark era of Nazi Germany and has nothing to do with democracy. This movement, associated with slogans of throne, annihilation, and death, seeks to impose its own beliefs and suppress the freedom demands of the women’s movement. Those who conduct politics through threat and fear are a danger to Iran’s future. We will not allow Kurds, Turks, Baloch, and all the children of this country to be labeled as “separatists,” nor will we permit domination through military repression.'

The Guardian view on Trump’s Iranian campaign: an illegal war that risks becoming the new normal
                            [...]
Force is lawful, under the UN charter, only in self-defence against an imminent attack or with security council approval. Neither condition has been met. There was no evidence of an “instant, overwhelming” Iranian attack being prepared. What Donald Trump’s Operation Epic Fury looks like is not pre-emption but prevention: a decision to eliminate a future risk while an enemy appeared weak. It is a war of choice. Mr Trump’s call to overthrow a sovereign government was extraordinary.

Unlike pre-emptive wars, preventive ones are deemed unlawful because they grant the powerful licence to strike at will. The distinction is important; it is why many European governments rejected Russia’s justification of its invasion of Ukraine by claiming to head off a future threat. Law cannot be optional for allies and binding only for adversaries. [...]

Any politicians, in e.g. the EU, who praise this war of aggression also thereby legitimize that for example Putin might wake up some Monday morning in a bad mood and therefore decide to invade e.g. Poland, using EU politicians' currently praising whimsical war of aggression as legitimization; they are putting you at risk.

Hewlêr/Erbil International Airport in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq was bombed, reportedly by some component of the PMF/PMU which while officially part of Iraq's federal army mostly consists of groups aligned with the Iran-theocracy.

Not only the Iran-opposition "Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan" (KDPI/PDKI) in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq was bombed by the counter-revolutionary IRGC of the Iran-theocracy, but at least also at the "Kurdistan Freedom Party" (PAK) and Komala (I assume the "Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan", as there are several Komala parties, but from context...).

The counter-revolutionary military IRGC of the Iran-theocracy also bombed an arbitrary highway at Hewlêr/Erbil in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

                                  Very heroic.

The "Morality Police" of Tehran as well as the Gisha Police Station 137 were bombed.

Police are civilian in armed conflicts unless the rulers decide to use the police for military tasks within the armed conflict, which it can strongly argued the Iran-theocracy has chosen to do whereby they made also police valid military targets.

Now also as an article, in English:
"Iran targets camps and headquarters of four Rojhilat [eastern, Iran-held part of Kurdistan] parties [...] in Bashur (South Kurdistan [a.k.a. northern Iraq])"

I have never heard of any "Komel Party", so I guess that is also Komala, but there may also be things I don't know...

"At least 22 people are dead following pro-Iran [government] demonstrations in Pakistan in which hundreds of people marched on the US consulate in Karachi" (see earlier for some videos)

                                        It's not "pro-Iran", it's "pro-Iran government" or similar.
It's not "pro" the extremely numerous murderously oppressed people in Iran, so that phrasing is only valid if one only considers the government to be "Iran" or if one only considers the abstract concept without humanity on paper as "Iran". Do better, the Guardian.
