The party serves the big man, which, for our case, is obviously Trump. But its members are also pulled into the organizational logic of the gang, with cruelty and brutality as the organizing principles and violent bravado as the main form of political expression.

@eRileyKc Although the reason it remains an issue is because of the constant attempts by the other side to placate the sore losers. And the old guard of today's Dems still haven't learned to put a decisive end to it. Or they have learned but have the same compromised values as their opponents, which may be just as likely.
