    Just because you disagree with someone doesn’t mean you get to misgender them. Attack the argument, not the person.

      @GroupNebula563
      There's a subclass of men who insult other males using c*&t. What does that say about them? Any why that obscenity? I like calling men who fit this parameter pr&%ks. At least it's the right gender. I don't know what the gender-biased insults are for trans or others, but have never needed one.

        Even if someone is a complete and total shithead, I'm not going to go around calling them slurs or whatever. Why would I? I don't dislike that the person in question *exists*, I just don't necessarily agree with their opinion on something. I can dislike their opinion because of X, Y, and Z, and I can certainly let them know that, but they can be a perfectly swell person otherwise. Same goes for the other way around, I've met people I agree with on most topics but are just abysmal to be around.

          @wordstitcher I honestly don’t think we ought to have gender-based insults. Ad hominem attacks are rarely useful, and basing them on discrimination just makes things seem far worse.
