The city of #NewWestmintser, the province of #BritishColumbia in #Canada is replacing the #PatulloBridge with the #RiverviewBridge. I've been mapping in my #bicycle all streets, lanes, path in the city, today I had the chance of biking to the soon-to-be-gone bridge. [1/3]

This week both bridges are closed, there are section of the connection to the rest of the network that have to be switched from the old bridge to the new one. Even the bridge is closed to car/truck/bus traffic, it's open to pedestrian/bike traffic, here some #photos [2/3]

@jubiloMX So glad the Putello is going away. Every time I drove over it I felt like I was tempting fate.

@mike anyone that was go thru it while a truck is going on it as well… or try to bike downhill in a tiny unprotected sidewalk can understand why fixing it once again was not an option

@jubiloMX @mike As a vehicle driver this bridge was terrifying - as a pedestrian, it damn near felt like asking to get killed.
