As a developer, this is the part I care about most.
The Foundation Models framework now takes images as input, lets you reach server models through the same API, and adds a skills framework on top. One framework: on-device and server, multimodal, with tools.
This is the kind of thing that makes building real on-device AI apps actually doable. So excited.
