This is a desire which I would absolutely prefer to oblige. But I really need AI to meet me halfway here and stop fucking up every single thing about our industry, geopolitics, every hobby related to computers, and the planet

@glyph@mastodon.social I just had to nope out of being online entirely yesterday after I woke up and saw some slop mongers not being run out of town on a rail at the same time I saw some incredible social harms being discussed about said slop.

Not sure I can do it today either, honestly. No energy for this right now.

@glyph I'm not writing about it, but when I dash posts off complaining I try to at least tag or whatever. because yeah I would also like to stop thinking about it, but I am unfortunately not provided an environment to do that. It Keeps Happening. It Keeps Happening Worse.

@dalias @aud I don’t want to tone-police anyone who is mad about the harms this is causing — I am also mad — but just from a personal point of view, I am quite conflict-averse and being rude and abrasive makes me sad and anxious. I just want to get along.
