      @lifewithtrees Oh.

      #neurobland is the opposite of #neurospicy.

      So like #neurodivergent vs. #neurotypical, but without the connotation that the later would be more common (or even "healthier").

      If you have not hear about it before it's because I came upp with it ca 10 minutes ago.

      @jordgubben @lifewithtrees

      I like the analogy that some types are simply more stimulating. However I feel that bland has a negative connotation so something else might be better suited

      But again I absolutely love the approach cause especially the stimulation overdrive is what some days literally feel like.

        @lifewithtrees I don't know what they called me. I just know they avoided me like the plague - and throughout my adult life - same.

                @lifewithtrees I like to consider us weirdos as outliers. Or as Yogi Bear (not Berra) said, smarter than the average bear.

                  It was all in my head. No one cared then and no one cares now. And I sure don't care. I wish I.would have realized that at a much younger age.

                      @lifewithtrees well the exact terms used were frightening and unsetteling but that counts as weird I'd say.

                              @lifewithtrees yes, but in healthier ways now. I wouldn’t like me-as-kid even now, I think, not all that much.

                                  I like the analogy that some types are simply more stimulating. However I feel that bland has a negative connotation so something else might be better suited

                                  But again I absolutely love the approach cause especially the stimulation overdrive is what some days literally feel like.

                                  @Kmachel @lifewithtrees After being harassed for most of my life by people who perceive them selves as ”normal”, and therefore ”better”, I feel the somewhat negative connotation is at least someone deserved.

                                  I see a user case for a less adversarial word as well thought. Something for the allies, and the openminded. How about #neuromild as neutral option?

                                      I thought I was weird, others thought I was weird. Now I know I an weird and think it is nice, and don't care when others think I am weird and see it negatively. 🙂

                                      (I was the kid with varying obsessions and when I've talked to some of my first grade pals they remembered by weird obsessions -I left a Lasting Impression, which is hilarious.)

                                        @lifewithtrees Weird all the way. (Only I don't have bullies as an adult, which changes everything)

                                          Were you referred to as “the weird kid” growing up / Do you consider yourself to be “weird” as an adult?

                                          @lifewithtrees wow surprised at the number of people who considered themselves weird as kids. Y'all were ahead of the curve 😆 I was so so so reserved and locked down as a kid.

                                          There were like five internal committees operating between my brain and my mouth to ensure I never said anything in any particular way that could possibly be construed until leaving home.
