geez deleting your old #matrix server only to move from #conduit to #continuwuity and from a stupid subdomain to your main domain sure is fun

#cinny when calls?
@Sparkle @lapingvino / @laping has a fork that adds it :3 with the new livekit calls, like what element x uses

#cinny when calls?
@Sparkle They already have calls implemented, but still have a lot of bugs.
Btw commet for android have 1:1 calls.
-
@Sparkle Have you set up the LiveKit stuff? Element X should have calls working since 0.5.5
@JadedBlueEyes yup, i did
idk if i did smth wrong tho because it only works with element classic for me -

@QuadRadical @lapingvino oh neat, what's it called? i couldn't make out anything on my short view on their profile

@im_a_GDeveloper yes i saw the git issues, i hope they'll get things figured out soon
also i tried commet but it feels really unfinished to me? also it lags like hell and idk why
-

@Sparkle Just checked your server, it's likely that this is because we accidentally updated the docs to refer to an option in the upcoming (unreleased) update. Either you can change it to the old one (under well-known in the config reference) or just wait for the next update :3

@Sparkle Join our [announcements channel](https://matrix.to/#/%23announcements:continuwuity.org) to get pinged when that happens, and there are a bunch more rooms in the [space](https://matrix.to/#/%23space:continuwuity.org) too

@JadedBlueEyes i am getting an MISSING_MATRIX_RTC_FOCUS
But ohh yea tbh i am not that trained with configuring nginx so i just threw smth in there that i found and hoped it would work xd
I'll look into that, thanks! -
@squidink7 ahh yea it kinda sucks that a migration isn't that easily possible

luckily the only chat i had there was with my bf and i just exported that with element desktop as html and so i do *somewhat* have a backup of our chat
-
@squidink7 @Sparkle Yeahhhh lol. When I get time I'm going to split the website into its own repository so we can hold docs updates till the release happens without holding up code. Everyone is just very exhausted and busy now
-
@squidink7 oh geez understandable xD
I'm glad my bf put up with it now. But i think regarding to tech issues he always listens to me xd
-
@QuadRadical @lapingvino oh neat, what's it called? i couldn't make out anything on my short view on their profile
@Sparkle @lapingvino its at https://codeberg.org/lapingvino/cinny, its sometimes called Wally

@Sparkle I use commet on android, it works fine for me but i heard people telling how buggy is for them. In desktop and web is just awful as you just said.
But really, i really hope that cinny could fix those bugs soon. I still limit myself to recomment matrix becouse there isnt a "perfect" client.

at least i think ill use it more actively now
and calls do *somewhat* work now
i hate that they only work with element (and on mobile only with element classic grrrr)
