Your D&D campaign doesn't start in a tavern, it starts at a wedding. But none of you know the couple. Some are bluffing their way through crashing it for the free beer or dragged there as a +1 or as a temp job as a caterer or other roles as needed. Late into the night at your table back in the corner, someone sits down "Adventurers, eh? Have I got a job for you!"

@JessTheUnstill My DM ran a campaign for us once where, at the end of a mission/quest, we all went back to the pub. And we all decided to party and celebrate and RP the whole getting hammered bit and all.
The next session, our DM "woke us up" at 2am and dragged us on to the next adventure.
I spent the entire time drunkenly flailing around, making bad decisions, easily being called off by sirens and such lol.

What level do you need to be to craft a +1 Invitation of Wedding?

@CordiallyChloe Hah I always love when DMs make there be Consequences to the party's goofing around. And also when the players lean into it.

@vocumsineratio Well apparently in this case, level 1

@JessTheUnstill I was worried I was pissing off the rest of the group bc I was making *obviously* bad decisions, but I was trying to play into the drunken state. The whole party ended up sidetracked when they had to drag me away from those sirens lolll
