I’ve always hated writing a resume. It physically drains me.

And these days they’re completely useless; hiring managers and the like don’t even bother reading them.

Why are they even a thing? (Rhetorical)

It’s all about tradition and “proving” that one is capable of sitting down for a ridiculous amount of time, to do a meaningless task, with no promise of reward.
