@paul I am happy for him, as I think this will be a great opportunity for him and he’s got a family to support.

I uninstalled his app a while back because it was flakey though. I unfollowed him soon after when his posts got a little too condescending and preachy for my tastes.

He seems like he knows his stuff and I wish him well, but I don’t see him joining OpenAI as a net positive for OpenAI users.

@paul I have friends who have gone to OpenAI, and yeah they play by Fruit Company rules. OpenAI staff are even discouraged from posting even their job titles; publicly most of them list their title as simply “Member of Technical Staff”.

@paul I supported him for awhile as there was a Vision Pro version but the bugs were not being addressed, so I stopped.

@paul I got really bad vibes about this guy when his app came out and he didn’t take too kindly to feedback and bug reports. Probably a good fit for OpenAI.

(Ivory is still my favorite app that I use daily - multiple times a day that is - so taking this opportunity to thank you and the Tapbots team for your amazing work on it)
