οΈ@mekkaokereke I'm amazed when I see people stanning with pretty much that script for, like, Al Franken

The only thing we should be saying is we can't believe it took so long for Eric Swalwell to get his ass tossed out. We're not *going* to say that, if for no other reason than all the evidence that points towards this kind of stuff happening all the time everywhere and being ignored, but we can at least push for a day when that's not the case.

οΈHis behavior was an open secret in the democratic party. How can we be represented by people hiding one of their own instead of making sure he faces responsibility for his actions? The dems who hid him are never going to work for the people. They also should be forced out of the party.

οΈ@mekkaokereke Gen-Z women are going to be bringing receipts on more folks in Congress. Let the handwringing begin.

@dnkboston @mekkaokereke Thereβs a widespread narrative out there that Al Frankenβs issue was just one photo that may have been kind of a naughty joke but if you read his Wikipedia page, several women came forward to say he groped them (at the very least).

Sounds about right
While it is certainly possible that he got caught the very first time he did something like that, it's very unlikely. Typically, the unsafe acts that result in an incident were carried out dozens or hundreds of times before. I have little doubt that it wasn't his first rodeo -

οΈ@mekkaokereke the thing is, why was he good enough for Congress? you don't get to DC and turn into a creep.
the DNC is notorious for opening their arms to the people with;
1. the most money
2. the biggest fundraising hustle
3. the most millionaire/milliardaire backingEric Massa, a former republican scouted to flip a NY county by a couple of NYC millionaires, is a great example of that. the wikipedia pages doesnβt even cover what he allegedly did to his wife:
