      I don't think it's a matter of them having to go after us. It's a matter of being locked out if you don't comply.

      Such as not being able to access all or part of the internet, especially interfacing with online companies to buy stuff and access sites like youtube or whatever, if our device doesn't provide whatever kind of signature or certificate or whatever will be required.

      Most likely something controlled by a corporation like Microsoft or Google that will have to be capitulated to to get the "verification token" or whatever it will be called. Comply or ACCESS DENIED.

      And in time it will probably be baked into the hardware by manufacturers, like UEFI or even through UEFI, that any OS must get verified to be able to boot it at all.

      So I don't take this lightly.
