There's a Great Blue Heron who lives in the park by my house which me and family call "Big Bird", because he's usually the biggest bird there. The exception being occasional visits from a whole dang *flock* of white pelicans, during which time Big Bird has been known to sulk in a well-forested nook. -

I am always so impressed by the size of the pelicans. Gbh's are impressive and hard for most birds to harass, but something about the bulk and charisma of the pelicans clearly can do the trick! Also
