this succulent display won the 2026 'New Design' award.

i am a sucker for Paphiopedilums (slipper orchids). this one is Paphiopedilum 'Booth's Sand Lady.'

i do not have deep familiarity with the orchid hobby so most of these beautiful plants were new to me. orchids come in an amazing diversity of shapes and sizes. here is a Mastevallia 'Pixie Magic.'

and of course there were bonsai at Chelsea, too. these are from Driftwood Bonsai, and the display won a gold award. all the trees are Satsuki azaleas.
