The first two interior paintings in the hedgehog feeding station. They'll have a coat of varnish then frames will be mounted around them

      Other paintings i'm thinking:
      Bowl of fruit
      Vase of flowers
Poppy fields with a blue sky
      Soft clocks
      Another hedgehog portrait

@babe Oooh, how about a real clock, like an analogue quarts watch built into a fancy frame or tiny grandfather clock?

@babe (not meant as an offense and I think those are beautiful! - buuuuuut) what about making this an art gallery/exhibition of Fediverse artist from all over the place?!

@unlofl Far, far too much work. Plus it would probably stop working fairly quickly.

This will be outside, and over half the year it's an extremely high moisture environment

@fluffel Nope. I wanted these to be paintings I'm doing personally, but also they need to be painted directly onto the walls rather than something printed off.
Anything paper based is hard to seal and mount, so is very prone to rotting - I found that out the hard way.

@babe I was thinking a cheap-ish waterproof wrist watch, I'm pretty sure it would hold up for a few years?

But you're right, a lot of work, and with limited floor space wall decorations are probably also better. If I suddenly decide to make detailed doll-house grandfather clocks, I'll see if you want one donated and get measurements.

@babe oh I see, but I‘m still sure if you ever need to build another feeding-house, don‘t have the time to add art and ask the Fediverse: it will provide and send you ready-made walls with paintings on them if 🙂

                    @babe

Abstract DoomsDay Clock against some gentle background, like Poppy fields with a blue sky, or Greenland tundra, or small creek / waterway.

If you're just joining me and have no idea what I'm doing:

I'm decorating a hedgehog feeding station (for wild hedgehogs, not pets), painting works of art on the walls of it and putting ornate gold frames around them.

                                    Getting a cultural exchange going.

If you're just joining me and have no idea what I'm doing:

I'm decorating a hedgehog feeding station (for wild hedgehogs, not pets), painting works of art on the walls of it and putting ornate gold frames around them.

Will there be a portrait of M. Egg?
