    Kernel security team publishes tons of new CVEs every week/day.
    Many of them lead to privilege escalation.
    Many of the reports contain a working PoC.

      @alphaville I find it especially damning when they just drop a script-kiddie ready POC way before major distributions have something out that automation will install and upgrade. This shit show left a lot of system administrators doing panic installation of the workarounds on 1st of May which is a holiday in a lot of places.

      They however weren't the first ones to try to make a name for themselves with this, I just had hoped the people claiming to be white hats to have matured enough not to set the world on fire for their personal glory.
