Ok, so quick question - some lovely people have replied to my toot(?) and I would like to interact to say that I see and appreciate it... but I am not sure how to do that.

@EmrynVale Posts on Mastodon are called 'Toots'.
The Toot icons do the following:
Left arrow: replies to the toot.
Double-arrow: Boost or Quotes the toot.
Star icon: Favorites the toot.
Bookmark icon: Bookmarks the toot.
Three dot menu: Provides other options (Copy Link, Mention, Mute, Block, Report) for the toot.
When one replies to, Boosts, Quotes and/or Favorites a toot, the user who made the toot receives a notification, if they have set up that notification.

Favorite (the little star) is appropriate in this situation.

@EmrynVale
A favourite is absolutely the right thing to do. -
