@sfpodge I suspect that company is not the only point of failure, though. There are so many things to go wrong, it's a wonder they are able to make those chips.

@WataruTenkawa_1 I love how Ajinomoto is involved.

@WataruTenkawa_1 @sfpodge exactly. It is “a single point of failure” from many, not “the single point of failure”. This is a common thing with single points of failure, and it goes against the intuitive feel of the phrase. Talking about “The single points of failure” is a frequently made mistake.

@WataruTenkawa_1 Ha. I ride my bicycle through Ogaki on the way to Gero. I'll keep my eye out for them next time.

@WataruTenkawa_1 I did a narration for this company a couple of years ago. Its history is very interesting!

@softicecreamlesley Wow! Interesting indeed, and hard to imagine how they acquired such precision manufacturing skills

@tintinaujapon @WataruTenkawa_1 It’s like Fuji film making high quality supplements.

@WataruTenkawa_1 We’re lucky then that if there is a major problem with the factory nothing of any consequence will be affected.
