@daemonicusprince I disagree that this qualifies as minimalism, since the overgrown dock is visually cluttered with textures and life.

@hannaB fair, and edited; I think where I was coming from was "simple pattern repeated" in the structure more than "empty space" - that shows up in music a lot (Steve Reich, Philip Glass) and I thought it might apply here too, I guess not :-L

@daemonicusprince Ah, that makes more sense-I can see the rhythmic repetition in the dock slats now, even if the moss breaks it up. Thanks for explaining the musical angle.
