        @hannaB …like Kazakhstan, Usbekistan et al. but indeed China’s booming economy has power, tech, and channels to funnel stuff to Ru.

          @ukrdef Exactly. The difference is scale-China’s sheer industrial capacity makes it a far harder leak to plug than any of the Central Asian or Gulf routes.
