US Special Operation on Tanker in Gulf of Oman
A Force Recon unit from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit conducted a helicopter-borne boarding of the Iran-linked tanker Celestial Sea (Aruba flag) in the Gulf of Oman. The insertion was performed without parachutes from an SH-60 Seahawk under helicopter cover. -
