Massive drone attack on Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions
On the evening of May 4, 2026, Russian occupation forces launched a massive drone strike across several regions of Ukraine. The attack targeted Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts. Unmanned aerial vehicles were detected over the settlements of Khotin, Krasnopillia, Shostka, Horodnia, and Zolochiv. Additionally, drones struck Karnaukhivka, Obukhivka, Shakhtarske, Petropavlivka, Pokrovske, Vasylkivka, Kamianske, and Kurylivka. As of this report, the attack is ongoing, and air defense forces are actively engaged in the affected areas.
