Two vessels of Russia's shadow fleet struck near Novorossiysk
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that two vessels linked to Russia's shadow oil fleet were successfully struck in the waters at the entrance to the port of Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai. According to the head of state, these ships were used to transport oil in circumvention of international sanctions. The attack took place in a strategically important area for Russian energy exports. The operation targeted vessels that are part of a network designed to evade restrictions on Russian oil sales. No official reaction from the Russian side has been reported so far.
