Hezbollah drone strikes in southern Lebanon and Israel
On May 1, 2026, Hezbollah militants launched two drone strikes targeting Israeli military positions in southern Lebanon. The first attack occurred at 13:15 local time when a drone struck a military vehicle in the Al-Bayyada area. The second drone hit an Israeli Hummer in Taybeh at 13:25. The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that two soldiers sustained light injuries as a result of these strikes. Additionally, another explosive drone fell in northern Israel near the border without causing casualties.
