Mine Threat in Strait of Hormuz and Freedom of Navigation Plans
A U.S. navy advisory warned the mine threat in parts of the Strait of Hormuz is not fully understood and ships should avoid the area. Britain and France announced a joint plan to ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait.
