Venezuela Releases Political Prisoners Following US Statement
Senior U.S. State Department official Michael Kozak told lawmakers that Venezuela has agreed to release an additional 50 political prisoners. 51 prisoners from the PDVSA Workers case, arrested after the 2002-2003 general strike, were released from Yare Prison.
