Missile strike on Kharkiv region
On the evening of April 8, 2026, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Kharkiv region. Preliminary reports indicate a hit on an oil depot in the city of Merefa. Explosions were also recorded in the Lozova area. Local residents reported powerful blasts and a fire at the impact site. Emergency services are currently assessing the extent of damage and possible civilian casualties.
