@MSK about an hour, then another until they were dry enough to really touch things. I usually put on a movie while I do it.

@MSK I'm pretty well-versed in painting my nails, as I've been doing it since I was a kid. But I do regularly paint outside the lines a little bit and have to touch it up with some polish remover. Once in a while I just fuck one up and have to clean it off and start again—usually because I accidentally gouge it while trying to open another polish bottle or when reaching for a drink.

The bane of doing fancy nails is *immediately* having to pee after you finish painting them, as it's really hard to use the restroom with wet nails and not end up messing them up.
