Funny. I only noticed the trouble if the horse bolts, or kicks. I never thought about the fact horses shit all the time.
Sorry, I grew up in very dense suburbia/semi urban. When I snapped in autistic burnout at my tech job, I actually went and did my girlfriend's little brother's job for a day.
I've done cutting-edge tech and shoveled shit for a day in a stable just to do the lowest-tech thing I could do. I'd bet more than one person in my feed can relate to the concept.

@MelissaBearTrix testing pH of coolant in my car - I'm keeping an eye on it as I yoinked the silicate bag in expansion tank last year (otherwise it can burst and fill whole cooling system with beads of the stuff which isn't good), but it was put in there by VW to try and keep the PH higher (so without it I may need to refresh the coolant more often)
Left hand side is a 50% mix of fresh coolant compared with what is already in the car, it is pH 8,0 for the new stuff and 7,5 for the existing fill (which hopefully means I don't have to flush and refill it as its a pig of a job and needs 10 litres of the stuff)

VW (as well as Stellantis and probably other Euro manufacturers) like to use the pink/red stuff and there's now at least 3 formulations of it in use, all of which look similar but are subtly different)
This is the cursed item (VW put it in the expansion tanks of many cars from the mid-2010s)
it is just asking for trouble doing that and a few have burst in folks cars over the years, if they lucky its a warranty fix and if not its a fat repair bill..
