@socketwench The great insight I got from reading Cory Doctorow is that companies are not interesting in providing a stable revenue-generating service. They are interested in growth. Which means anything that simply works well is of no use to them.

@socketwench We need more „boring“ tech in our life. Stuff that just works. Where we figured out a good solution to a requirement and can carry on. Like loo rolls and plumbing.

@socketwench @jaggi And the Glass UI is, for lack of a better term... YUCK.
I know it wasn't perfect either, but at least Aqua was visually pleasing and worked very well for what it was. For that I'd much rather stick to the older macOS versions if I needed a Mac for anything.
