I’ve noticed another late stage capitalism dark pattern. Food delivery now coming in tamper-evident packaging and delivery drivers having to enter a code into their apps that was texted to us to prove we received the order. Appears that the corporate overlords are trying to stop their starving gig workers from stealing food. Everything about that is terrible.

So, you don't like anti-tampering hash and signatures? Because the basic logic is the same.
Yeah, food delivery is underpaid(and you shouldn't use it because of that) but at the same time messing up with food is dangerous.
And there are assholes out there in the delivery business.
Plus one would have paid for a full portion, not a partially eaten one.
I respect workers but I also expect to be respected.
