@DaveMWilburn @kevinrothrock The Ukrainians do shoot down Shaheds with .50 machine guns -- but only if the thing is flying low enough. I guess Californian sheriffs could try use a .50 sniper rifle. Kinda better than nothing. Although they would be very likely to shoot with enthusiasm at a small plane instead.

Police departments have already been getting military equipment for a while. Why not some AA pods while they're at it... -
