    I don't stick forks in electric sockets. I don't enter crosswalks when a Tesla is approaching. But I *was* foolish enough to adopt a VC-backed company's dev tooling.

      @ross Am I wrong in assuming that this is always the end game of any VC backed dev tooling? Dev tooling is non-revenue generating, not in a derogatory way but more like skilled nursing.

        @deech I always knew this would end in tears. I was surprised how soon, and how repugnant the acquirer. uv was the first time I ever wrote Python and handed it to someone else and they could run it too, and I let my guard down.
