@mntmn Which version of 7zip is this? Am asking because I keep log on multiple machines running 7zip bench, and the metrics change after version 17 …

    Benchmarks based on 7zip benchmark

i think the 8550 performance really hits a sweet spot between "faaast" and "not too hot". it's not exactly cheap though. anyway can't wait to get the quasars into beta and production. but first have to ship the reform next itself 😄

@mntmn I read that as "16550" and got real confused for a moment. "Yeah, I mean, adding the FIFO was a real treat... oh wait..."

@mntmn @davec555 Yay! Thank you. What about QCS8550? Any known blobs required for it?

@mntmn Feel free to add an Amiga entry of your choice, our list is quite bleak there 🙂 And as we have an Atari TT listed, the Amiga should go natural!
Just make sure to use 7zip 16 or so.

@mntmn Waiting for the previous MTN Reform model to arrive but looking at this prototype makes me wonder if I should have waited for the Next to be available for purchase

@mntmn Really exciting! That would put the reform in a spot where I'd prefer it over a used macbook w/ asahi!
