@marcoarment If there was a "rarely but not never" that would be me 🙂

@rickscully @marcoarment same here, I probably do a "remind me when I get home" thing over Siri in the car maybe once a year.

      Quick market research:

Do you use location-triggered (geofenced) Reminders in iOS?

(e.g. "remind me when I get home to do X”)

@marcoarment Yeo, they work fantastically for me and are easy to setup with Siri.

@marcoarment no, because I can never remember the expectations of what happens if you have a location and an alert is it AND or OR and which comes first? 🤷‍♂️

@andyflisher @marcoarment You can do both! Often I say "Remind me to do X when I get home" or "Remind me to do Y when I get to work" (both home and work have labels for me in my contact). Or you can do the @hotdogsladies "belt and suspenders" approach of "Remind me to do X when I get home at 10:00" and you'll likely get 2 reminders, unless you just do the thing immediately when you get home.

@marcoarment Reminders, including this exactly use case, is my highest use of Siri.

@marcoarment super handy when I’m running errands. Run into store and reminders pop up with all the things I need to get. 🙂

@marcoarment I tried them a few times when they were introduced but they were unreliable so haven’t used them since. I use date/time reminders and just set them for when I know I’ll be in the right place to action them.

@marcoarment It's nice in OmniFocus for example when you pass a shop and it reminds you that you wanted to buy something there, for example

@marcoarment [x] I always use location Reminders to the extent that I usually don't finish them, so they pop off again next time 🙂

@marcoarment ALL the time. Reminders for stuff to look up when I get home that pop into my mind while at work that I don’t have time for then, stuff to do when I get to work, etc

@marcoarment literally my number one use case for reminders. Google got rid of them on Android and it killed it for me when I was on a Pixel.

@marcoarment Yup, when appropriate and non-recurring event.
