@catsalad I am constantly on the lookout as I expect Discord to become more and more enshitified in the next years. Alas, I found none.

Mind the *single user* requirement.
That said, we've been using Matrix as a Discord replacement for well over a year now, and it works for us.

@mclibboc The discord use case is "group discussions with highly dynamic membership" and that is what Matrix does (by my sources) not well.
