@FawnOverFun You could try alternative window managers like Sway, Niri or MangoWM. I personally use Niri.

@FawnOverFun It takes quite a bit of set up to get right and there's a few basic keyboard shortcuts you need to get used to but after all of that it becomes a breeze to use; it's just not what most people are used to. And also it relies on an X11 to Wayland portal instead of XWayland so that might mess things up a bit. The way Niri handles fullscreen applications is really nice btw and you can make anything fullscreen.

i’m not usually the keyboard shortcuts type of person but i like them when ive been able to memorize them
i wonder if there are videos using it or smthn to see if i like how it looks and stuff

@FawnOverFun@wetdry.world make lots of weird little useful menu scripts (you can use fuzzel) and bind them to key binds to automate stuff ^^ not great on gnome but if u ever move away from it towards smth simpler youll be glad youve learned how to do it
