do you need your microcontroller+LCD as small as possible? Welcome... to the USB-C sandwich!
@foone it’s so cute!

@foone Fits a whopping 72×40 = 2,880 pixels, too. At that point, Doom seems like a given. Wonder how long until they have the version where the USB C connector tongue is just the PCB.
@aschmitz yeah already planning to order one for Doom porting

@foone hmm, ny PS1 memory card had a tiny OLED, guess there’s a market for such tiny ones.

@foone that’s cute. Regarding if something gone wrong or not: I think this is quite nice way to have a quick stab at the display/controller before incorporating it in your project.

"Everything is fine. Everything is fine. Everything is fine. Everything is fine. Everything is fine. Everything is fine."@foone Repeatedly repeating "Everything is fine" is what you end up doing, hugging a shotgun under an office desk when the xenomorphs are closing in and the power has just gone out.

@foone somewhere there's someone willing to sit down and do the math on what the resolution of that screen would have to be for the image to show no signs of pixelation or screen door.
I'm pretty sure it's more than the 64x64 or 128x128 that unit can actually deliver.

"Everything is fine. Everything is fine. Everything is fine. Everything is fine. Everything is fine. Everything is fine."@foone The second did that to fill out enough characters to get extra coins for leaving the review. (3 base, +7 for 50 characters (used to be 100), +10 for a photo.)
