Be me: Have a perfectly fine dish washer.
Proceed to only use it to store dirty dishes until I need them again and wash them by hand. #adhd

@drakulix meanwhile I do start it, but fail to clear it and so live out of the dish washer until it's empty (or I get a burst of "need to clear it"), while the dirty dishes pile up

@drakulix the dishwasher is clearly for clean dishes. Dirty dishes go everywhere where there is room for them until you've run out of clean dishes - or are so overwhelmed by the dirty dishes everywhere that you have to, right now, empty, fill and turn it on.
