I got a very biased view of what being trans meant in the beginning, which kept me from realizing I was trans for a while.
I was happy, something Kalvin Garrah, who I sadly watched at the time, did not seem to consider to be an possibility for a trans person pre-transition.
The only reason for why I was presented with Kalvin Garrah was that he was more acceptable to cis society than the mainly nonbinary people who later opened my mind to other ideas. -

Queer indeed has a certain degree of body and mind autonomy, and arguably relationship and/or gender anarchy.
